Happy 8th Birthday Jayda!

Well, I'd say where do I begin, but that would be 8 years ago today. :) My oldest baby girl is now 8 and getting baptized. What a wonderful weekend we have had. All of Jayda's grandparents were here for her big day and even some cousins. I think she had a great day. We had breakfast at Grandpa and Grandma Cluff's, then had lunch at the park, before the baptism. Her baptism was very special. It was so fun to see her make such a special convenant with Heavenly Father. She was absolutely beautiful. After the baptism, we came home for dinner and a party. I made Jayda a video of her life, so we watched that first...and I thought it turned out well. I wanted to give her something she could always keep and remember....and I think she loved it. :) We opened presents, and had cake and ice cream. It was such a fun day, I hope it was all she thought it would be. Happy Birthday Jayda Bear! We love you and are so proud of you.

At Creekview Elementary, every 6 weeks there is are 2 "Golden Gators" chosen from each class. They are the "student of the 6 weeks" if you will.....

Well, Halle was chosen for her class, Mrs. Martindale! She was so suprised! She is such a cutie and her teacher had nothing but great things to say about her! She is an angel!

A Saturday with Dad!

Some of you know Nelson has been working a second job at Zales Jewelers. He is usually working every Saturday, but this one, he was home! So we just played with the kids! It was a fun day!

Our Daily Routine

While I run, or clean, or whatever, Sienna and Ryder have gotten used to watching Barney. They love it. Barney and Cheetos...their favorite morning routine! At least they are baked cheetos! So cute huh?

Much Driving, Puking, & Fun

I don't know why it has taken me so long to post about our trip to Utah. I guess because there was too much to write about and too many pictures to sort through, so I am simplifying by posting the same two pics I "stole" from my sis-in-law and a brief summary. Because I am getting truly behind on blogging about life!

We drove to Utah on the 14th, and we left about 1pm. We were headed to Benson's(Nelson's youngest sibiling)wedding. We decided to drive the entire way on the way up, to get there sooner. So we drove all night and arrived in Utah the next day at 11am. The trip wasn't too bad and it seemed super quick!

Unfortunately, on the morning of our arrival, Ryder was puking in the car. I thought he was a little car sick, but later events would say, no, he was actually sick.
Through out the next couple of days we were there, a nasty little bug went through the entire house (of 21 kids) and everyone, kids, and adults, were puking everywhere! Oops....did we bring that? Can't be sure, but it looks like it. Everyone just carried on and we marked it as the "thing" to remember about Benson's wedding! We kind of laughed about it and everyone was such good sports!

We had lots of parties, pictures, temple events, showers, and things to do while we were there, besides the wedding...so there wasn't a lot of down time to visit with everyone, but all 14 siblings were together and even for a little bit was super fun.

The kids has so much fun playing with their cousins, who they hadn't seen in over a year, and we even visited our old neighbors and our old ward. It was fun.

We drove home, via Phoenix, to see one of my best friends. She, Angie, got married the following Saturday, and I couldn't come. It was fun to see her for a couple of hours. Our drive home proved to be long and well LONG. But we got home and were glad to be here.

We had so much fun and wish Benson and Albree the best! They are super cute together!

Texas Sized Donuts!!!!

Today Nelson had a meeting in Austin for work, so we all tagged along. We stopped at a "famous" donut shop in Round Rock...called...you'll never guess..."Round Rock Donuts."
They have a "texas sized donut" apparently we couldn't pass up. So we tried it....and now we can say we did it. That is the glory of it. Of course it was well, HUGE and nasty. But that's just me and donuts. It was a little thicker than a regular size donut, more like cake....makes my stomach hurt thinking of it, but fun to take a picture of anyways. :)

We also packed a lunch before we left in our fantastic "Peace Love World" Lunchboxes....too cute. :)
