The Eyes of Jayda are Upon us...

Our little Jayda just received her first pair of eye glasses.....and boy can she see apparently. Even though she is moderately near sighted....she can all of a sudden see the fibers in the carpet, the lines on the ceiling, the freckles on my face...apparently she didn't know these things existed before. :) ha! So it is the latest thing in our house....Jayda's cool glasses. Mia says she looks like an artist or scientist. :) Jayda puts them on the end of her nose, puts her hair up and asks if she should get her knitting needles. :)

Oh what fun. :) We think she looks cute! :)

What we do...

It is super hot here in Texas, and usually unless we are swimming, we don't go out much. So here is a few pics of what we have been doing! Just hanging around the house mostly...with a lot of imagination!

Pioneer Day

Pioneer Day is the Day Latter-Day Saints celebrate with the pioneers first crossed the plains and arrived in the Utah Valley. Although we don't live in Utah anymore, members of the church celebrate it all over the world. Our church here, had a big celebration and dinner which was fun to go to. We sang songs, ate dinner, had a costume parade, and had snow-cones, watermelon, & popcorn. My kids didn't dress up like pioneers because we don't have any costumes....but it was still lots of fun.

Kason's 1st Swim

Ever since Kason was born, he has loved water. He never has cried in the bath. Even the first time, he loved it! I have actually put him in the bath crying and he stopped. :) He loves it! So it is no surprise he loved the pool! Isn't he handsome!?!

Flip Flops

These Pinkies have seen many miles....so many it is worth a blog post. Sienna out grew them, oh I don't know, last year sometimes..maybe even the year before that...she loved them and wouldn't let go of them...they needed to be put in the trash ages ago. Now, we bid them farewell....Bye bye Pinkies!

4th of July Weekend

What a fun weekend we had with our family in town. My sister came to town for the weekend, and so my mom, stepdad, my dad, and Taryn (sister's BFF) came to party with us on Saturday. We all hung out and ate and played, it was lots of fun. I didn't take too many pictures, but here are a few!
