Shaker Village Baby Animals

Today we went to an animal farm a little ways away to see some baby animals. The kids loved it. Juliet was so cute squeling at the baby animals. Jace took a bit longer to warm up. It was also litterally freezing! It snowed for a good 10-15 minutes hard...and we were so cold! Luckily there was a play room inside a building. It was fun to see their reactions with the animals and babies! We had a good time! The baby pigs in the picture below were only 2 days old. So cute.

Spring Break 2015

This past week we were lucky enough to be invited to North Carolina to hang out with some friends in a beach house they rented. We drove there by way of Washington DC and though we didn't have time to get out and walk all over, we drove past all the big monuments and it was fun for the kids to see them. The house in NC  was a gorgeous 5 bedroom 2 game room, hot tub, pool table, great house on the beach. It backed up to the play area and was right next to the beach entrance. We rented bikes and rode them everywhere for the entire week. It was so nice to get away and have warm weather. We just hung out, played pool, swam in the indoor pool (ocean was freezing), played in the sand, played games, rode bikes all over town, and just had so much fun. It was hard to come back to reality. We were grateful for the opportunity and the memories!
