We went to China!!!

Jayda's 3rd grade hosted a China Night at school tonight! It was so cute. They sang a song in Chinese, took us on tour, and showed us many of the great sites of China, and gave us Chinese treats! It was so fun and cute! The whole grade worked really hard on it! We had a fun time! Here is some of the fabulous artwork and sites of China!

Sienna's 5th Birthday

Today was Sienna's birthday. We let her open a few gifts, but are having the party Friday when some friend's can come. (Since I am writing this post after both of them...I will include pics from both!) We had a fun time the day of her birthday, she chose to go to Moe's for lunch, which is a fun place.She had a great time and was so excited for her party on Friday! It was wierd having to change her party to a different day, I am not a big fan of celebrating on a different day, but since school is still in here....it was necessary! It all worked out fine though! She had a great birthday and ended up celebrating twice!

Piano Recital & Anniversary

Well, it was a big day here at our house. Jayda, Halle, and Mia all had piano recitals today so that took up most of the day...They all did so well. It was the first time for Halle and Mia. They did so good, you would never have known they were nervous. :) We are proud of all of them! Great job girls!!! Nelson and I have been married for 11 years. Hard to believe...time keeps ticking by...and it is starting to tick faster. It has been a great 11 years....we've lived lots of places, had lots of kids, even had lots of jobs. But it has all been great....I will spare you all the details...*(your welcome Angie) but we are very blessed to have each other and our wonderful family! I am a lucky girl. Happy Anniversary to me! :)

Memorial Day

Today we went to a stake Memorial Day Picnic, with our church. It was at a park where we played, ate, and visited with friends. They kids had so much fun! It was a great day! Here are our Kodak Moments...

Flat Stanley

One of our friends from College Station, who now lives in Maryland....sent us a Flat Stanley (to Halle) to take around town. As it is due back this week..naturally we took him around town today to see Albany. Here is what he saw today.... The Cohoes Falls

Field Day

This year the girls got to pick two events that they wanted to participate in for their school field day! Jayda picked the 100 meter run and the high jump. Halle picked the 50 meter run and the high jump, and Mia picked the 300 meter run and the long jump! They all did soooo good! :) It was so much fun to watch them! Jayda's grade went first. She did really good, winning first for the 100 meter run and then took 2nd for the high jump!

Halle's grade went next...and she did really good also! She got 2nd in the 50 meter run and 4th in the high jump! (to be fair, she competed against more kids!) But she did awesome!

Mia blew me away. She took 1st in the 300 meter...and let me tell you that is a far run. She smoked everyone!!!! Look at the picture in the top left...those girls way back there by the baseball cage

..yep... She smoked them!!! I couldn't beleive it. :) She took 2nd in the long jump...which was fun to watch also! They all did such a great job. It is funny, earlier in the morning before school, Mia said, "I just want to impress you!" I thought that was so sweet....and of course told her that whatever she did would impress me. Man was I in for it! She went above and beyond. :) Then later after school we talked about it and she said, " I think Heavenly Father Blessed me!" Awww....I was one proud Mommy today! :)

Ryder's 3rd Birthday

My little Ryder turned 3 today! I can't believe it. It seems just like yesterday I was running around playing basketball with my first little boy in my tummy...so excited and waiting to see what a little boy would look like! :) Now he is already 3. Boy how time flies by. 3 states, 2 jobs, and another boy later...here we are...a 3rd Birthday! :) 3 is a fun age, because now they are aware it is their day and they are really excited about it and understand presents. :) Ryder has been into Team UmiZoomi lately, so besides learning his numbers and shapes...he loves to see things on Bots, Belly Belly Belly screen! So we decorated the house up as best we could for when he woke up. We even put a pic of Ryder on Bot's Belly screen! :) He was so excited when he woke up! He loved and kept saying all day..."Its my Day!" :) Since it's Sunday, we went to church, then had some friends over for cake and ice cream! I think Ryder had a great birthday! This is the first time we had friends over that had boys...you know..Ryder's friends! :) He had a great day and we are so grateful for him and the little blessing he brings into our family!

Kindergarten Orientation

Today my little Sienna got to go to school and meet some teachers, sing some songs, take a few easy tests...and just have fun. She was so excited! I can hardly believe she is going to Kindergarten next year. But boy is she ready...she can count, add, read a few words...knows all her letter and well...knows it all..or so she thinks! :) She is a smart cookie! She was so cute...she took her purse to school when we went...in her little skirt and hair fixed...she was so cute! Here she is...We are in trouble in about 10 years!
