Father & Sons/ Princess Party

So a couple of years ago we had a Princess Party when Nelson went to Father and Sons. Nelson hasn't been able to go to Father and sons (camp out with our church) every year...but this year he planned to go, so we planned our princess party! We invited a few friends over and dressed up, put on crowns, and ate yummy food! I am sure this will be a great tradition over the years! Here we are...

Happy 1st Birthday Kason!

Kason turned one year old today! Crazy how fast time flies by. Who knew we would be celebrating his first birthday in New York? He of course had no idea about it and was just happy to play with a few balloons. :) But we had other plans. We had some cake and icecream, opened some presents and sang Happy Birthday to our little guy all day long! It was a fun day and although he loved his new toys and clothes.... I would dare say he loved the cake more! :)

Kason is such a great little boy. He has a funny personality. He just started walking in the past couple of weeks and is cruising everywhere...but he crawl so fast...he is like a fleeing cockroach! He laughs a silly face laugh, calls out many names really loud...including but not limited to "Jayda...Dada..BABa (mama).....Ryder" You can tell who we are yelling for the most. :) He is a happy little boy and loves to push cars and buses and anything with wheels. Even my vacuum if he can get it to fast enough! We love him so much and couldn't imagine our family without him. Happy 1st Birthday Kason!

NY State Museum

As we live in the capital city of New York, there is a great museum here....We decided to go walk around with the kids today! They actually had fun seeing all the fire trucks, Sesame Street scene, stuffed animals, and all the fun stuff the museum had to offer. They also had an old fashioned Carousel on the top floor that the kids got to ride. It was a fun day!

New York, New York

This past weekend we met my Sister in New York City for her birthday and a little sight seeing. My mom was the ultimate surprise for her...she did not know she was coming. We stayed in my cousin, Alina's, NY apartment near the Empire state building...so near....it is the direct view out the window! It was gorgeous. We had so much fun all over the city. We took pictures in Central Park, went to NBC Studios, Rockefeller Plaza, FAO Schwarz,the big toy store, we also went to the Statue of Liberty, Time Square, Hershey store, M&M Store, The Ferris Wheel in Toys R Us, Ground Zero, The Plaza... so many places, I will just let you see in pictures. The best thing I think was the bus tour. We took a bus tour that drops you off and picks you up at many locations. So you can get off, see what you want, then get back on when you are ready. Of course there is never enough time for everything....unfortunately....but we had fun seeing what we did and really enjoyed it! It was crazy with 6 kids...but luckily we had my mom, my sister, and sometimes her friend who lives there...to help hold hands. It was a fun time! Here is our fun...in pictures. Thursday

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! What a special time of the year to remember the most important event on earth! Christ died for us and was resurrected! We are so grateful for this knowledge! How blessed we are to Believe in Him and to Believe Him...that our sins can be forgiven and we can live with Him again!

We have enjoyed today so much! It is the first Easter in...probably ever, we are all alone as a family. We don't have any relatives near by...but it has been a special day!

The kids woke up at the crack of dawn to see what the Easter Bunny brought them.....they were so excited...you'd think it was Christmas!




Nelson and I had to speak in church today...we hope we didn't corrupt anyone and make anyone want to leave the church...:) But on a brighter note...these cuties were staring at us from the benches.....





Yesterday...a nice lady in our church invited us to her annual Easter Egg hunt...she puts on this big shin dig every year at her house for people to come to. It was amazing...brunch, easter egg hunting....prizes....it was a lot of fun. So nice of her to do all that out of the goodness of her heart...the kids had a great time!

It has been a great Easter Weekend. The past month has gone by so fast. We have already lived here 2 months! We have had a lot going on....here is a just a few things more recently...

I had a baby shower for a friend in the ward who is having twins girls in a couple of weeks...yes...I am jealous...but it was lots of fun.






Sienna also learned to ride a bike without training wheels! :) Yay Sienna!

10 Months Old

This past Monday, the 5th, little baby boy turned 10 months old! Where does the time go? Gravy Loo! Here is his cute mug...

Happy Birthday Nelson!!!!

Today Nelson turned 32! For 3 months I am only 2 year older than him instead of 3! We had a fun day by just hanging out together....we went to lunch at Hana a Japanese steakhouse...which was really fun. We haven't gone to one in many years and most of the kids do not remember. It was so yummy and a lot of fun! All the kids were scared of the fire....ha! Our chef was extra funny, and that was really cool. Mia said, "don't Chinese people have kitchens?" Well, I guess she is only 6 instead of the 15 she thinks she is. :) Ha! It was a fun day. We ended it with a yummy Reeses PB cake, and family movie night (Hugo). Happy Birthday Nelson! We love you!
