My Babies...the last few days

(Guess Sienna has been neglected.....she has barely had her hair fixed over the last couple of days....what can I say, we are still figuring it out.) :)

First Tooth

We've been patiently waiting for this tooth to fall out for over a couple of months. Now my baby lost her first tooth. (during school) But dont worry, she intends to make a killing off the tooth fairy...after dad comes home that is. So the tooth fairy will have to schedule a stop by our house thursday night...better call and make the appointment.

AFTER

The First Day of School!

I can't believe it is here. My little girls got on the bus this morning for the first time and headed to school all day!!!! I had to hold the tears back as they got on the bus, and I hugged them. I was sad to see them go. Mia's first comment once they were on the bus, "Now what am I going to do?" Well, now that the day is half over, I will tell you what she has done...pouted, fought with Sienna, played games with Mom, watched HSM2, and of course already asked when they will be home. Poor little Mia, she is quite a bit older than Sienna, and Sienna isnt quite old enough to be much fun....in fact she is the opposite.... she does all she can to aggrivate you. So the house has been super quiet, and although I have 99 days out of 100 it is too loud and drives me nuts, wishing I had some peace and quiet....I find when it is quiet, I am sad and miss them dearly. I think the adjustment is harder for me than anyone else...well, maybe not Mia. But we will get through it together. :) If we can get past Sienna acting up and screaming all the day. What a joy her 2's are. :)Mia doesnt understand why she cant go to school, but if you ask me, next year when she will join Jayda and Halle, will be all too soon. Happy First day of school everyone!

Happy Birthday Mia!

This past week has been busy and full of fun. We have been getting Jayda and Halle ready for school. They both go to meet their teachers and have a tour of the school. They are both super excited for school. Good thing Mia's bday is this week. She has been a little neglected with the school thing...so she got plenty of attention for her birthday. Auntie Angie came in on Thursday night while the girls were asleep, so they got to wake up to her being here. Mia was so excited to wake up and go jump on Auntie Angie's bed, and that is just what she did. :) Friday we started out by taking our usual "Olive Garden" trip, which was so delicious and fun.




Then we went to James Avery for my sister to get Halle a charm bracelet. She gets the girls a charm bracelet when they start kindergarten. Jayda got a school house last year (for a charm)...Halle got to pick hers out and she picked out...guess...a laptop! ha! But she loves it. Then after that, we had to do some shopping for the party. So we got some groceries and then I made a delicouse pork salad for dinner. (I got the recipe from where else? (www.picky-palate.com) After all that we were pooped, and ready for bed. On Mia's bday, we did a little more shopping and decorating and then waited for the party at 2 pm. Here's the invitation


We swam, ate lunch, opened presents and had some yummy cake and icecream. It was really fun and she got some great presents. We really had a great weekend and although we missed being in Utah with the rest of the family and our friends, it was fun here...AND the first time we have ever had a birthday party with ALL the grandparents here at one time!

What we have been up to....

Visiting my mom...

This weekend while Nelson left for Washington to work, we went and visited my mom in Broaddus, Texas. What can I say, it is way out in the boonies....my phone didnt have service at all, there is no high speed internet, and the closest walmart is an hour away. It was acutally a fun weekend, even without all the necessities. :)We headed out to Nana's house on Friday morning....and it was actually a beautiful 3 hour drive. I put new songs on my ipod, and let me tell you the world of difference it made driving somewhere....the girls watched a movie and I just sang to my heart's content. :)Ryder looked super cute if I do say so! Nana thought so too.



We hung out on Friday and had a yummy dinner. Then on Saturday we went to the zoo, which was actually really fun. It was a small zoo, but it was all shady, and although it was shady, it was still hot...but it was fun. They had cute animals and a fun little train to ride.

Sunday, we went to church with my mom at her branch. It was really neat to go to a branch and attend church in a house with 40 people! What a neat experience. The girls did really good in sacrament and then we went to Primary, because Nana is the President...and there turned out to be way more visitors than the 4-6 kids she is used to. So we had 12 and it was a full out party of sorts. (In other words, a long two hours) :) But it was fun. Ryder was adorable too. :) (He is just now plumping up to fit into all his other clothes...so all these pictures are of him in these clothes for the 1st time!) :)




We went back to my moms and my Aunt, Uncle, and cousin came over and visited with us. We had a fun weekend and really enjoyed staying with Nana and Papa Bill!
