Nana's Dresses

Sledding in the snow....
Today Nelson and the girls went sledding the some of the cousins for a bit. Jayda and Halle played the most outside, Mia, Sienna and I stayed in. I am fighting a cold, Sienna....well, she is too little to mess with, and Mia just was a bit scared. But they still had fun. Here are a few pics.

We were doing a little shopping, and of course how can I resist to buy a few things for our coming little boy? But it was wierd in the boy section. I still wasn't sure if I was shopping for myself. Here are the few cute things we bought.

Merry Christmas!!!!
Per request of my dad, here is our Christmas morning! :) Well, it started at 1am...Mia and Halle were puking from 1am-3am...finally we went to sleep, with all the excitement of puking and presents. :) We woke up at 7:30, Halle first, who felt "Much more better" as she said. They saw what Santa brought them, and loved it from the get go of course. Santa brought Jayda a Hannah Montana guitar and wig, Halle, 3 boxes of floor puzzles, Mia lots of play make up, and Sienna a doll stroller.
The Presents from Santa:
They played with their toys from Santa while I put a breakfast casserole in the oven...I always make one on Christmas....this time I used Lori's recipe...yum. It was delicious, as is anything she makes. Then we opened our envelope..."The envelope" of our baby (if you aren't sure what is going on, read previous post)....and we found out we are having a .....
BOY! Can you believe it? I couldn't! I think I am still in shock....who would've guessed. What will we do with a boy? We don't quite know...nor do we know any names...so it will be interesting. :O)
After that, we let the girls open their presents....They opened some beauitful dresses from Nana first. Then they opened all theirs from Auntie Angie, which included, Hannah Montana dolls (all), art supplies(all), movies (Halle & Mia), a poodle purse (Jayda), a play and learn toy and a baby doll (Sienna), dresses (all)..and I think that is it....she got them a lot. :) Thanks Auntie Angie....Then we opened the rest of our presents...Jayda got a journal, an outfit, and makeup. Halle, a shirt, bead box, and makeup, Mia got more make up, a shirt, and a princess book with a dvd. Sienna got a shirt, books, and a shapes box. They all had so much fun. Grandpa gave them money, which was much needed, so we are going clothes shopping next week. They had a great Christmas...We are very blessed to have so much, maybe too much, but hopefully they are grateful for it and remember that Christmas isn't about the toys. But about the Savior.

Our Cluff Family Christmas Extravaganza!
This past weekend was our "Cluff Family Party Weekend!" On Friday just the adults went to eat dinner at Zupas and then went to the Desert Star Theatre to see "Miracle on 42nd Street", a spoof on the real movie....obviously. First, I must say, this was the first time I ate at Zupas...oh my golly. I have been dreaming about it ever since. Yikes! It was sooooooo good. Grrr....being pregnant....I wont stop dreaming of it til I have it again! The show was funny and we enjoyed it as well! Thanks Ben and Pam!
Saturday morning, we woke up and went to our Ward Christmas Breakfast, which was fun. We had eggs, ham, and pancakes...and it was great! They brought it to our table and we didn't even have to stand in line and fill 3 or 4 plates at the same time (for our kids). It was fun!
Our Cluff festivities began at 3pm at Spencer's house. We started a progressive dinner to eat at everyone's house and see their trees. We went to Spencers for appetizers, Brady's for salad and rolls, Chris' for yummy soup, our house for funeral potatoes, Nick's for chicken, and Carolee's (Ben's old house) for dessert. It was fun. After we ate dessert, we had our gift exchange and Santa came to bring all the kids cute little teddy bears. It was fun! We ate for like 6 hours.
Well, I couldn't eat that often, I had some here and some there, and we finished at about 8pm....so being the prego person I am, at 10:30 on the way home, I had Nelson stop and get me a ham and turkey sandwich at JCWs. (I had only eaten here once before mind you). Well, I shant eat there again. I woke up at 3am and couldn't sleep, my stomach hurt and I felt so sick. I had to go to church and teach singing time, so I kept thinking.."I"ll be okay"....well, after lots of stomach cramps and puking right before walking out the door to church, I finally felt better....food poisining? I don't know...my stomach cramped off and on all day Sunday....and finally by midnight..I could eat somthing of substenance. Yes, midnight....on sunday that is. Sunday night, we all had a sleep over at Carolee's. We met at 6 pm for soups and stuff. We had our Christmas program of talents and the navtivity, then we opened, more presents from Ben and Pam! Yes, matching pjs for all! It was so fun! Obviously we loved it. :) We had a great time playing games, until 4 am....the kids were up til the wee hours of the morning, I don't know how. We woke up early for breakfast the next day and to a snow storm of huge caliber. Ridiculous snow! It snowed constantly alllllllll day. The roads were bad, you couldn't barely see in front of you. I left Carolee's house to go play basketball with some friends in Alpine at 9:05 and got there at 10! It was terrible! But our weekend was full of fun and we enjoyed all the cousins who were here and missed those who weren't.
As a special treat, one of my friends, who took time off from being an OBGYN (in my doctor's office)....gave me a Christmas present! :) She used to be a doctor in the same office I go to, but took time off to stay at home with her kids. She called the office and set up for me to come in for a "gender check" of the baby this morning. Per her request...I didn't look at the screen, I had the lady write it down on paper, sealed it in an envelope, and it sits on our tree until Christmas morning! :O) Woohoo! Okay, so what's the secret really right, we all know it will be a girl. I am exctied for either. It would be fun to have a boy for a change, but I love little girls too, so I will be glad to just know and start planning. So until Christmas morning! :)
Here are the names I am leaning towards....(no boy names...just can't seem to think of any..wonder why?)

Snow, Snow, Snow
The past few days here have been all white. The girls played out in the snow a few days ago, and had a great time. However, today, was amazing! It poured snowed for a constant 3 hrs! Nelson shoveled the walks this morning, but to no avail. He snowed at least another 4-6 inches after that. It is so pretty....but there is nothing to see but white everywhere. I shoveled a little later, and the snow was so pretty...we took a few pics. It is suppose to snow again all weekend! Hello white christmas! :)
