Jayda's 11th Birthday!

My 1st baby turned 11 today!

 

Time flies so fast!

 

Jayda is having a party with her friends on Monday, but today she got to have lunch with Dad, he took her Arby's. Since it is Wednesday, she has gymnastics fro 4:30-7:30, so she went right there after school...and took chocolate covered rice krispie treats to share.

 

Then we finished the night off at the Texas Roadhouse.

Where we had to of course, embarrass the birthday girl! :)

PS She did open some presents today, and she got Percy Jackson book Series, a bag of skittles (upon request), a new gymnastics charm for her bracelet from Auntie Angie, an electronic Monopoly (upon request) from Grandpa Martinez, money from Nana and Grandma Cluff, and a Peace Love World Jacket from Alina! She made out like a bandit!

 

 

 

 

Apple Picking

Today the kids had half a day of school, so we went apple picking, which was long over due. Of course we are apple snobs and only picked Honeycrisp, we tried others, but they just weren't as good. :)

Soccer Star

Soccer

Another season of soccer is upon us! Nelson was volunteered (not saying by who) to be the coach again...hard to pass up free registration for coaching.....and we were assigned ORANGE again! :) While wishing for another color shirt to add to the collection, we have started another season with little tikes. And these guys are little....it is preschool age, and now Ryder is one of the veterans. :) It is so funny to see soccer at this age. The first game a couple of weeks ago, we found all but a few standing around not sure what to do. :) Let's just say keeping score would have been a downer for us. :) Now a few weeks later, they are getting the idea and at least chasing the ball. Today they even scored a few, including Ryder! :)

 

 

That's my little orange guy down there by himself. :) He is super funny! When the other team heads for our goal, he is the first to run down and jump in and play goalie...even when he passed the ball to get there. :) He is such a boy and a great little athlete. It is fun to see him be such a great team player and love sports. So Let's Orange...At least we can be the proper color during the proper season! :)

 



 

Quick Learner!

Ryder learned to ride his bike today after maybe two tries! He got it fast and loves it! What a smart boy! :)

Baptism Day!

Today is the Day!

We were so excited, and Mia has been waiting for so long to be baptized! It was a great day! We had her baptism, then an ice cream sundae social, then lunch at the Olive Garden! It was all delicious!

 

After the baptism, we went to the Cohoes Falls and took pictures, then home for more jumping! :)

 

 

 

Friday Fun!

Today we spent time at the girls' gymnastics. All the grandparents came to watch Jayda and Sienna at their team practice. And they all monkeyed around....

Then Grandpa Martinez was talked into an early Christmas present....so this is what the kids got for Christmas! :) .....
