Christmas Week with Auntie Angie

My sister was the only one able to come spend Christmas with us this year, but we had so much fun and were so glad she could come! She came on Christmas Eve, and the kids were so excited!
We spent Christmas Eve, the usual way, having friends over and enjoying homemade pizza and games! We had a great time and the kids were so excited for Christmas!

Christmas Morning, the kids woke up ready to see what Santa brought and Auntie Clause! 

The same as every year, they got way to much stuff and were spoiled rotten. But I think they enjoyed themselves. We contiued our tradition of seeing a movie on Christmas Day...this year it was...

The day after Christmas we went to eat at the Olive Garden (always a tradition when Auntie Angie comes) and then the next day we tried Ice Skating for the first time. (For most of us!) It was fun...and a little scary! :)

Since every day is a party with Auntie...we also bowling during the week!

All the kids were there, we just apparently didn't talk pics of them! :( 

Auntie Angie helped the girls clean and organize their room and the toy room...No small feat! She bought organization tubs/ shelves, etc. I was sooooo grateful!!!! 

I wish we had taken some pics of that! 

We had a New Year's Eve Party with a couple of friends...and as usual couldn't make it to midnight!

 But we had a great time with Auntie Angie and all of the friends we were able to spend the holidays with! The kids had a great vacation and as usual were sad to see Auntie Angie go...me too. :(

Winter Concert

These two beauties had their Winter Concert today. They did great singing! And they looked gorgeous! So proud!

Thanksgiving

It was a nice day! The kids started out by playing in the snow.

This thanksgiving was a new experience for us. Usually I have it at my house....and this year we went somehwere else. We joined some friends (Bigelows and Polleis)  from church at the Pollei's Clubhouse (where they live). It was actually a great place and although we didn't get a chance to hang out and enjoy ourselves as long as I would have liked, it was super nice and fun. We also had great food and Amber did great decorations and was so creative! We were thankful to have friends to share the holiday with!

Being thanksgiving, we have many things to be grateful for! Mostly, family, friends, the gospel, and the Savior!

Halloween!

We had our annual Halloween party! It was oodles of food and fun and trick or treating! We had a good time and were thankful we had friends to spend it with!

Apple Races

The School did their annual Apple Race, which is 600 m (300m for Kindergarten). They all did so great!

Mia was recognized with a Green Apple Award. That is when a student is recognized for their constant effort and working hard! They only pick one or two girls  and one or two boys from each grade.

It was a fun day!

Perkins Halloween Party

Our friends, the Perkins, decided to have a Halloween party, and let me tell you it was a blast! They know how to have a party! They are so great about making sure everyone is having a good time and went out of their way to make it extra special for the kids! They are great friends!

Perkins Halloween Party

Our friend's the Perkins, had a super fun Halloween Party! The kids all dressed up for the first time this year and although Sienna's costume wasn't ready, she was still cute! We has so much fun!
