Milestones

Today was a milestone for me and the babies!

I ventured out by myself for the first time with all 4! Yes, finally, after a year. Only to BJS, like Costco....where there is double seats in front and a car to put the boys in! It was great. The boys got in the car, and the babies got to sit up front in a cart for the first time! They are getting to be stinkers and not like being strapped anywhere...but still it was fun!

Today we went to a couple in our ward's house to play! The kids had fun sledding! We had fun visiting and eating good food!

Boston Children's Museum

This weekend we went to Boston to go to the temple and to the Children's museum. Fridays is Target $1 days and that is sooooo much cheaper than the regular price! So we enjoyed it! It was a fun place and the kids had a lot of fun in all the exhibits!

Valentine's Day!

Each Valentine's Day we write on several hearts things about each of the kids....and cover the wall. They love to wake up to it and find their notes...then they get to go on a scavenger hunt to find their goodies for Valentine's Day. :) It is fun to have a tradition they like....and it just sort of happened several years ago!

I have many little cuties to love! I am so blessed!

 

I also have one Big cutie I am blessed with....I don't know why we stop wanting to be in pictures when we get older... but I love you Nelson! You are the greatest!

Happy 1st Birthday Juliet & Jace

Happy Birthday my little babies! Time goes by so fast. I can't believe it! We celebrated their birthdays today with an Olympics theme since the Sochi winter Olympics started today! :) We had some friends over and just kissed on the babies all day! I hope they had a fun day! What a blessing they are in our lives!

Fun in the snow!

Halle turns 10!

Halle is turning double digits tomorrow! We had her birthday party today which was a rainbow theme! It was fun to find stuff to do with rainbows. We decided on rainbow snacks (colored goldfish, fruit in the shape of a rainbow, and fruity pebble rice krispie treats) with flavored waters. We played pin the gold under the rainbow and had races to separate m&ms. It was a fun party. Halle has cute friends and she got some great gifts. She has never been a big fan of cake, so I tried something new this year. I made her a cake roll (with ice cream in the middle). I saw a demonstration at http://www.delightdulce.com/2013/03/heart-patterned-cake-roll.html , that allows you to put a pattern in the cake...so I tried it!

I thought it turned out cute.
We like different around here!

Halle had a fun party and a great day. I can't believe she is 10! Time flies by so incredibly fast, I am not ready to be an empty nester. That is just how fast I know it flies! I will blink and they will be all married and gone. I dread those days. I dread an empty, quiet, yes..even spotless house. Even though they are growing up to be great kids, I want them to stay little kids.

Halle, you are such a sweet little spirit. You are so kind, and gentle, and sensitive. You are smart and talented and are such a great baby tender. :) I love you so much and hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Jayda At Bard College

Jayda had her 2nd gymnastics meet today, she did great!

The Team took 3rd place overall and Jayda took 8th place on beam and 10th place on floor.
