Today we went to the circus. Green Meadow Circus that is. Kindergarten put on a little circus for the parents. Although it didn't involve any animals, stunts, or even peanuts..it was still fun!
The kids dressed up as anything to do with a circus...our Sienna chose an acrobat! Cute huh? :)

They sang lots of cute songs, fed us circus snacks (popcorn, animal crackers...guess there were some kind of animals...cupcakes, twizzlers, juice, and oreos).
Then we got to go down the Kindergarten hall and see tons of wonderful artwork they kids have been working on about the circus. It was so cute. Much fun, cheaper, and less stinky than a real circus. :)
This month has flown right by. We tend to stay home a lot and just be. The babies are getting big and I can't believe they will be 3 months old next week! They are such cuties and are starting to smile and coo.

In other news...our other children are doing great. We have had mostly cold weather, but a few good days of sun.

Today was by far the best day for weather. It was perfect! And it was also Ryder's first soccer game. He was so excited for soccer he slept in his shirt the last two nights. :) He was so cute! He even scored! He is such a boy...and luckily he was born super athletic and with some skills!

Ryder had so much fun....we can't wait to see how he does in sports as he gets older. Since he loves them all and already knows he is good at everything. :P (He does not have any confidence issues!)

Today we went to see Harry Potter the Exhibit in NYC. Not many things I would fight traffic, crowds, and 8 kids for...but I really wanted to see this one. We planned to go with the Heatons and see what the fun world of Harry Potter had in store for us. We weren't disappointed! It was fun! Right away they have a sorting hat sorting children who volunteer. Mia and Gabe volunteered...Gabe was Griffindor and Mia Hufflepuff...needless to say she was quite disappointed. :) Then you are ushered through to some screens and watch some clips of the movies, then head past a large Hogwarts Express and into the Exhibit which displays several of the characters wardrobes, several wands, props, candy, and so many things from the movies...it was super cool to see them and know they were used in the movie. One of the coolest things was their wands and the 3 items in the last movie....elder wand, resurrection stone, and of course the cloak. They had a few hands on things, where the kids could pull out those screaming plants from herbology :) and one where they could throw those balls from Quidditch through hoops. They loved that. Unfortunately they do not allow pictures, so that is a pitty. But we took some outside before going in! What a fun time!
How can anything ever be as magical as Harry Potter?
As usual, we celebrate Easter on Saturday, so we can enjoy Sunday for what it is. A time to think of the Savior and His resurrection and not the Easter Bunny and candy. We celebrated with our friends, Rachel and John Heaton and their 3 sons on Saturday. We hid eggs in the yard, had hamburgers, played games, and just had fun.
We are lucky to have friends who want to play with us on demand. :) Okay, not on demand, but thankful for friends in deed. Especially when we have no family near. We are truly blessed with great friends wherever we go.

Nothing to post....in over a month. We have had sick kids here for about 3 weeks and I am going stir crazy. This is the worst week by far. The twins are on breathing treatments, I have pink eye in both eyes, the two boys have nasty noses, coughs, Sienna threw up at school yesterday....my oh my.
My hands are raw from washing them too much, and I am so tired of wiping runny noses, lysoling everything, passing out medicine, etc....:) Ahhhh the joys. )
Here is to Spring. May you come soon, may you bring sunshine and happiness...did I say soon?
And hopefully next week when the kids have spring break, we won't pass all the germs around again!
