Our Car

On our way to pick up our U-Haul to move, a lady basically T-boned us. Luckily we weren't going very fast, and so although there was a lot of damage ($3800), no one was hurt. (And luckily it was all her fault and her insurance is paying!)Here are a few pics of what the car looks like! Sienna's side was hit...she was asleep the whole time and never even knew it happened!

Tired....of Moving

Yes, Poor baby Ryder. (He is actually a sleep!)What a sport. He had to spend literally an entire week in a saucer or swing while I packed and cleaned and got ready to move. This is just a picture of his contentness...or boredom with the matter.

Actually, he was just dog gone tired! Poor sweet baby! He is the best baby and such a good sport. Now he will not get in either one (saucer or swing) ever again...he pushed is legs out and refuses, but he sure was a good sport then.:)

Leftovers anyone?

ha! Well, here is just some, yes, SOME, of our trash. The trash men love us....as you can see. This was about the same amount they picked up last week. Guess it would be wierd to bake cookies for the trashmen....but oh how thankful I am they pick it up. We have gotten rid of lots of stuff and replaced lots of boxes....dont know if we will fit in one big truck, even after down grading, but we are going to try. (still doubt it)...you never know. I have made 4 trips to goodwill already and still have at least one more in mind. Funny the things you collect over the years...9 to be exact. Well, lots of girl clothes and crap we dont need....what can I say...

Lakewood Carnival

Today we went to the Lakewood Elementary Carnival, amist our packing....so the girls could enjoy the fun stuff at their school. It was a neat set up, but SUPER expensive, so they each got to ride a ride, and play two games and get a snow cone! But they had fun anyways, and then it was back to packing!

Happy Easter

For Easter Weekend, we decided to go to my mom's house. My uncle Donnie has been in ICU and in very bad condition. Sad to say, I was planning to see him, because I thought it would be the last time. So we left here Friday at 5pm and headed to never never land. We were all excited to go see Nana and Papa Bill and to get away from the packing and organizing at home. When we got there, Nana sent the girls on a scavenger hunt for their easter present. (an electric pencil sharpener)...wierd, but they love it and wanted one really bad. :) We planned on going to the hospital on Saturday during visiting hours and then having lunch with Aunt Bye after. Some of Donnie's relatives were in town (Gary, Elaine, cant remember other two names...darn it) Anyhow, we had lunch at whataburger, and then got a few things and headed home. Bill and Nelson went to Priesthood, and mom and I colored eggs with the girls, made dinner, and watched the latest Harry Potter (since my mom hadnt seen it). Then we had to get to bed so the Easter Bunny could come! Yes, he still comes even way out in the boonies of Broaddus, Texas! :)

The girls woke up and were so excited to see their baskets. (yes they used their halloween buckets...maybe we will get easter ones next year!) They got lots of fun stuff and found all their eggs..Ryder even enjoyed his basket and had a good time!

We watched the first session of conference, which was fantastic, and then had a yummy lunch before heading home to face the organizational mess again!

We had a great weekend and enjoyed our visit. It is fun to live near Nana and Bill and spend holidays with them.

On a side note, Donnie, who was on a life support machine when I visited....has miraculously improved and is now in a regular hospital room.

Just goes to show, Heavenly Father is in charge and His will be done. Most Importantly He loves us and sent His son to die for us. The glory of it is not in His death, but in His resurrection. I know He lives! It makes my heart smile and sing with joy. Happy Easter.

Visiting With Auntie Angie

My sister came in on Thursday, the 19th. We picked her up bright and early at 9am. It was fun to have her all day on flying day, instead of having to wait until she gets all the way across the country to Utah from Florida!

We planned on having lunch with Nelson at Double Dave's in the Woodlands. It was fun and good food! (Although I was starting to feel sick!)

After lunch, we stopped at my dad's to visit and say hi, then were planning on going to the Houston's Children's Museum with Taryn (my sister's BFF and her kids). We planned to go Thursday night, because it is Family Free night! Woohoo!
We headed to Houston around 4pm and yikes...traffic...

Well, as I suspected, the lines were way too long...around the block! So we all decided to go bowling. We went to the nearest bowling alley to find it "league night!" and we couldn't bowl...argh!

So we decided to eat...what else? We went to a Mexican restaurant with all 13 of us...and had a good dinner. Even after all the mess, it was still fun and the kids had a good time.

Friday, we just hung out, went to lunch at the Olive Garden, and did a little bit od shopping at Target.

Saturday, we decided to try and take some family PEACE LOVE WORLD pics inside...since it was POURING rain all day....a few came out pretty good. :)(although the lighting was tough...)













We tried to take some other family pics outside on Sunday morning, before she left, but it was soooooo WINDY...they were more a disaster than cute....:(

At the Park with Nana & Bill

My mom came in today to visit and see my sister who is coming tomorrow. The girls are excited and happy to have visitors during their spring break. So today we went to the park and fed the ducks and played on the playground. It was fun. The girls fed the ducks stale bread and bagels (Nana brought), with the exception of Sienna who decided for herself, the bagel looked tasty...and took some bites! Yuck!

It was a fun day, and even though my little Ryder was feeling under the weather, still cracked a few smiles while swinging. We had super fun!

Dresses for Friends

Not only is today St. Patricks Day, and we woke up and had wonderful Green Eggs w/ ham :), it is also our friend's birthdays! We made them some cute Pillowcase dresses for their birthdays!
